MY STORY TO SCRUNCHY LIVING.

I was gaslit by people claiming I had just “let myself go” or I was “being dramatic”, and once again, I doubled down on my own research, leaned on trusted friends in the health space for support, and leaned even further into the scrunchy, low tox life.

Now, I live and share the happy medium — calories matter, and so does food quality. Gut health and hormone health should never be sacrificed for a specific body fat percentage. Working out and lifting weights is important, but so is listening to your body. You can love being a homemaker, and also love financially contributing to your home.

All this to say — in a world of shame and extremes in the health space, I’m here to share a sustainable lifestyle. And I’m so glad you’re here.

Hi there! I’m Lau.

I’m an online health coach who specializes in all things fat loss, gut + hormone health and helping women see lasting results without starving themselves. I’m also a network marketer, partnering with the number one B corp for clean supplements and skincare.

When I’m not checking in with my clients (you can work with me on fitness and nutrition here), or helping people get started on their healthy living journey with some amazing gut and hormone healthy supplements (snag yours here), you can find me at home, with the LOML & our old man dog, Buddy.

I’m a scrunchy living advocate, homemaker and lover of good food with even better flavors.

I fell down the rabbit hole of scrunchy living back in 2022 when I was working towards my master’s in nutrition. Having been in the fitness industry since I graduated college in 2017 — I was no stranger to crazy diets. At this point, I had experienced my own successful weight loss journey, but I was still stuck in the era of “the lower the calories and the lower the fat, the better” and “I’ll sleep when I’m dead” mentality. It’s safe to say that although I was the leanest I’ve ever been, my body was not thriving. My digestion was awful, I was constantly puffy faced from inflammation, my skin was awful, my hair was thin and stringy and I felt tired and miserable all the time.

Going back to school opened up the doors to start learning that even though we are told otherwise, food can be preventative medicine. That realization led to more research on our food quality here in the US, which led me to start growing veggies and baking sourdough at home.

In 2023, I had a traumatic IUD removal and experienced the worst post hormonal birth control syndrome symptoms. Chronic inflammation, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, estrogen dominance, overwhelming feelings of sadness, terrible skin (again).
